Laura Vázquez-Araújo is Head of Sensory Analysis and Consumer Science at GOe Tech Center, Technology Center in Gastronomy of Basque Culinary Center. She holds two MS, in Biology and also in Food Science and Technology, as well as a Ph.D. in Food and Agricultural Sciences and Technologies. Her current research centers on integrating new ingredients into products, with a focus on how multisensory experiences, culture, and consumption context are crucial for designing successful food. Dr. Vázquez-Araújo often employs co-creation methodologies with chefs and consumers to ensure innovations are both culinary sound and well-received by the market.
