Kate is Principal Sensory & Consumer Scientist for Kerry Europe, based at the Global Technology Centre in Naas, Ireland.

She leads sensory and consumer testing on savoury projects for Kerry Europe, as well as being global SME for consumer research, designing and executing research that translates consumer taste experience into data, informing product development, improvement, and launch decisions. Kate has worked in Sensory & Consumer research for household names including Mars, GSK, Mondelez and Jaguar Land Rover.

Kate also leads the IFST Sensory Science Group Communications & Early Career Scientists group, and has contributed several articles and invited presentations for the IFST. She is passionate about championing sustainability, and interesting fact: Kate is a Certified Cicerone®, a certification in beer tasting and knowledge.
